1.9.6 is a quality of life update. In this update: All alpha links have been depreciated and now run off of 1.9.6 code. This has helped us to resolve some errors and edge cases caused by the various versions attempting to interact. In order to do this we have also ensured that character links utilize the proper version of the client.
