Bugs happen! And for a little while NovelAI hasn’t been in working order. And the good news is: It’s back up again. The bad news: this was something entirely on me that was off my radar for far too long. In programming, or anything in life, owning up to your fuck ups is important! And this was definitely one of mine. When I expanded the sites servers, our proxy server used to power NovelAI’s messages accidently got deleted. Once I was notified, the service was restored in hours, but it clearly took far too long to notice that initial NAI outage.
I’m not going to lie to you: This is a learning experience! For myself especially, and I’d like to thank our NovelAI users for hanging in there until things came back together.
