A Privacy-Focused, Open-Source AI Chatbot Interface

I am happy to introduce Grimoire, an AI chatbot interface that prioritizes user privacy and open-source collaboration across multiple providers. Developed as a successor to OpenCharacters (OpenC), Grimoire represents a step forward in creating a secure and accessible platform for engaging with AI chatbots while keeping all your data private.
Grimoire is the result of a collaborative effort between Elodine (hiya!), Turtle Guy, Claude, and GPT. Together, we have worked to build a frontend interface from the ground up, using only AI and human oversight. This project showcases the potential of human-AI collaboration and demonstrates the power of open-source development.

We firmly believe that your data should remain your own, and we have designed Grimoire with this principle at its core. We guarantee that there is no data logging, transfers, or sales involved in the use of Grimoire, ensuring that your conversations and personal information remain confidential.
- Open-Source: Grimoire embraces the spirit of open-source software. By making the source code publicly available, we encourage transparency, collaboration, and community-driven improvements. The only stipulation is that Grimoire can not be used in situations where it may be leveraged for monetary gain. You will not be able to take this front end, clone it, and lock it behind a paywall. There are plenty of other applications out there that DO encourage this route!
