About: In late 2024 and early 2025 reports began emerging regarding the ‘final’ puzzle of Kryptos ‘K4’ being solved by AI. Jim Sanborn, the sculptor, said he was ‘disgusted’ by these attempts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m nothing if not the embodiment of spite, and middle fingers, and knowing that Jim Sanborn has continued to charge 50$ every ‘disgusting attempt’ thrown his way. Which means the Kryptos Initiative now serves as an ‘out of the box LLM project’ with a goal of pushing K4 with the hope of solution: all enabled by AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
